The Renewable Energy Assurance Listed (REAL)
The REAL Assurance Scheme was set up by the Renewable Energy Association. It’s aim is to bring information information and reassurance to clients wanting to buy and install any microgeneration system, including solar Pv panels. The REAL logo is a symbol of professional excellence and a sign that the supplier has agrees to abide by the high standards set out in their consumer code. Microgeneration Certification Scheme.
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an independent scheme that certifies microgeneration products and installers in accordance with consistent standards. The primary aim of the MCS is to provide consumers with confidence and protection by evaluating microgeneration products and installers against robust criteria. The MCS is the only certification scheme to cover all microgeneration products and services and has support from the Government’s Department of Energy and Climate Change.

The Physical construction of the panels for 5 years
The operation of the inverter for 10 years
The electrical installation for 5 years after the system has been commissioned.
The Pv panel manufacturer warrants the electrical output of the Solar Pv Panels to be no less than 80% of their designed performance after 25 years.
Smart Pv provides continuing training and support for its staff, ensuring that our customers receive the highest possible standards.
We use SMA and Fronius inverters. These are market leaders in inverter technology. They come with a standard 10 year warranty, which is extendable to 15 or 25 years at an additional cost.
We are extremely confident in the quality of our installations and we are happy to offer a standard 10 year warranty on all our workmanship. We will investigate and rectify any query or complaint about your system in the first 5 years free of charge, with no call out fee.
Peace of mind with comprehensive cover
SmartPv Ltd have now launced an independent insurance backed guarantee scheme, which will give all our customers even greater peace of mind when providing a deposit and having work carried out on their property. All SmartPv customers now have a full independent guarantee for 10 years against SmartPv Ltd going out of business.
